Quotes and estimates

We provide quotes at the start of each project and the estimate includes 2 rounds of corrections or alterations. Any additional concepts, alterations or work not specified in the initial project proposal will be either re-quoted or charged at an hourly rate.

All quotes are valid for 3 months from the date the quote is supplied.

Fees

Our fees are based on the time and expertise required by the individuals assigned to the design task, plus any direct out-of-pocket expenses.

Our standard payment terms are 7 days. Payment can be made by Direct Deposit, our account details are located on our invoices.

Invoices

The client agrees to pay a non-refundable 50% deposit of the quoted fee before the project commences. The balance of the quoted amount is due prior to the delivery of the finished artwork or the website before going live. Final artwork/website will not be delivered until the full payment has been made. Interim invoices may be issued at monthly stages if the project runs longer than two months.

Copyright / Ownership

The client will have the reproduction rights after the project has been paid in full and handed over to the client.

Cancellations

In the event of cancellation of a project, ownership of all copyrights and original artwork will be retained by Punch Bowl Design. The 50% deposit is non-refundable and will act as a cancellation fee.

Artwork Approvals

Punch Bowl Design takes care to avoid spelling mistakes and other errors in the final artwork or website design. It is the client’s sole responsibility to check all the information is correct before approving final artwork/website. Please take your time approving the artwork/website: checking all the spelling, grammar, phone numbers, addresses and other important information extra carefully. Punch Bowl Design cannot offer refunds or free re-prints for any errors in the artwork/website noticed after final sign-off of the artwork or website.

Privacy

All correspondence is treated as confidential. Punch Bowl Design reserves the right to use the designs as part of marketing, portfolio and other promotional activities. Your information will not be sold or given to any third parties except in the normal course of fulfilling design services for you. No banking details will be recorded and stored.

Acceptance of these Terms & Conditions

Commencement of a project with Punch Bowl Design constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

We collect the information you provide when you use the contact form facility on this website (on our Contact page). This may include name, address, email, contact information and other information that you include in your message. This information you provide is not shared with any other organisations, except in the normal course of fulfilling design services for you.

Our website contains links to other websites. Punch Bowl Design is not responsible for the policies and privacy practices of other websites. When you leave our website, please read the privacy statements of each website that collects personally identifiable information. Our privacy policy applies to data collected by our website only.

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small pieces of data (stored on your device) containing information about how you interact with our website. Squarespace, the CMS platform our website is based on, uses Analytics and Perfomance cookies to record visitor traffic data. We use this collected data to track site activity – such as how many unique visitors we’ve had, what pages visitors view, how long they stay, what other websites our visitors have come from etc. To learn more about what Squarespace does with visitor data, see sections 4(b), 5, 6, and 12 of their Privacy Policy.
